Each month, the Book of the Month Club at Monforton School in Bozeman, Montana reads and discusses a selected book. The students then post reviews of the books on our blog. Happy reading!
The book of the month for May is "Wednesday Wars" by Gary Schmidt. This is a fast paced, funny story about a boy in 7th grade. Read away Monforton students, and we'll review at the end of the month.

This is an exciting story. I would recommend this book to all those who enjoy humor.I liked when in the end he came through for his sister.
wow! this book is exciting, funny, and a bit romantic. this author described this story so well, i couldn't put it down! i really liked it when the rats fell through the ceiling and freaked the whole class out.
I thought that it was good that the author made him think Mrs. Baker hated him but she ended up helping him by making him read Shakespeare that leads to other events that help him. My favorite part was when they had cream puffs then they got in the classroom and they were all gone.

I thought it was a well written novel that would be good for anybody that enjoys love comedy twists.
