January book is "Book of a Thousand Days"
January's Book of the Month Club book is "Book of a Thousand Days" by Shannon Hale. This is a wonderful fantasy about a girl who is stronger than she thinks she is. I loved this book when I first read it last year, and knew I had to use it for Book of the Month Club. Kendall from 5th grade has helped me make our advertising posters around the school. Pick the story up in the library, and read it by the end of the month so you can join us for our book talk Happy Reading!

This book is an exhilirating adventure about a maid named Dashti who is confined to a tower with her lady.If you love "Princess Academy" and "Goose Girl" you will love this book.
"book of a thousand days" was a love story that all can enjoy. when Dashti is doomed with her princess (dashti's mistress) to be in a tower for a thousand days, she keeps a book of thoughts. a prince, whome dashti finds she loves, finds the diary. this leads to an adventure beyond imagination.
