February Book is "The Higher Power of Lucky"
Hi Readers! Our February Book of the Month Club Book is "The Higher Power of Lucky" by Susan Patron. This story won the Newberry Medal, which is the highest award a kids book can get. It is about a girl who lives in the middle of the desert, and is trying to find out why things are. Watch for our comment posts at the end of the month - those are the student reviews!

This book is a charming story of an orphaned child who is trying to find her higher power: a family.
the higher power of luck was a cute book that will leave you craving more!!!!!!!!!
the higher power of lucky is an amazing book about a little girl that is trying to find her higher power. she listens to smokers and alcoholics anonymous, when they talk about how they found their higher power.
lucky thinks about how her mother died and how she wonders how she could find hers. follow lucky on an adventure where she finds what she's looking for.
